The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) transitioned to a new financial and HR system known as Workday in October of 2017. In preparation for the transition a brand new Supplier Registration System (SReg) was launched during the summer of 2017. SReg marks the first time that all eight institutions of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) are sharing a common supplier database.
The new system streamlines the registration process for our suppliers. Prior to SReg, doing business with multiple institutions required a supplier to register separately with each one. When a supplier registers now, their information is available to all institutions. This allows greater exposure to business opportunities for suppliers, while expanding the procurement options the NSHE community has to choose from.
SReg also gives our suppliers the ability to manage their own registrations. Any change of address, payment, contact, or other pertinent information is entered into SReg directly by the supplier. This feature not only ensures that we have the most current and up to date records, it also allows our suppliers to quickly and easily update and control their information for all the institutions they do business with.
SReg will continue to improve and evolve in order to better serve our needs and our suppliers.
